Oil on wood panel: Portrait of a Young Venetian Woman is by the German artist Albrecht Dürer and dates back to 1505. It was done during his second trip to Italy, along with a lot of other portraits of wealthy people.
All About Portrait of a Venetian
There are tie-on sleeves on the woman’s gown that show her underwear. To hide her back hair, she wears a small, draped cap that covers the back of her head.
The work’s harmony and grace are achieved through its use of different tones, from her pale, elegant skin and reddish-blond hair to her black-and-pearl necklace and patterned dress. All of these are shown off against a flat black background.
It looks a lot like his c 1507 pose and colour tone. A German woman who lived in Venice. There are at least two studies of women in Venice that are very risky. One shows the model with a plunging neckline, and the other shows her with no clothes on her back.
Dürer was drawn to and became friends with Giovanni Bellini, a well-known artist when Dürer was still a little unknown outside of Germany.
They can be seen in this piece because of the soft modelling, dramatic lighting, and vivid colours and tones. This work was done by a Franconian artist.
In 1923, the work was found in a private Lithuanian collection. It wasn’t known until then that it was a Dürer piece.
The identity of the person in the picture is unknown. However, based on her clothes and hairstyle, it looks like she is from Venice, not Germany. The portrait isn’t finished. A lot of things, like the black bow on her chest, aren’t as well-described as in other parts of the text.
